Follow some of Geza's adventures as he actively serves the community!

Oct 27 - Thank You!

Thank you, Stratford!

Thank you for trusting me to serve another four years on City Council. I am grateful for your support and proud to serve our community.

Congratulations to our new mayor Robert Ritz and my fellow councillors. Thank you also to every candidate who put their name forward, and to everyone who voted.

Stratford’s voter turnout was 47.5% - an improvement over our last election and above Ontario’s 2022 municipal average of 33%. Thank you for making your voices heard!

Now it’s time to get to work. Over the next four years, I look forward to working together for a caring, proactive, transparent and compassionate Stratford - a city that works for everyone who lives here.

Thank you,

Geza Wordofa - Because I Care

Oct 25 - Feeling the Love

Welcome back to my campaign blog! Thank you to everyone in Stratford for the incredible support, encouragement, and inspiring conversations throughout this election journey. Together, we can build a more compassionate city where we truly look out for one another and ensure the next four years are incredibly positive for our community. If you haven’t cast your ballot yet, please remember to vote before 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26—because I care, and your voice matters.

Oct 23 - Looking Out for Neighbours

When a local resident called me from the hospital last winter asking for help clearing her driveway, saying "yes" was the easiest decision I could make to ensure she returned home safely. Acts of service like this—helping seniors, families, and business owners navigate the winter safely—remind me that true community is about looking out for our neighbours when they need us most. It has been an absolute privilege to serve Stratford because I care, and I humbly ask for your trust, support, and vote to continue this meaningful work.

Oct 22nd - Standing Together

After responding to an emergency call from local Stratford residents dealing with a sudden, stressful sewer backup, we were incredibly grateful to deliver free hot meals and fresh fruits to support them. A huge thank you goes out to City Pizza for their incredibly generous food donations that made this quick relief effort possible. Times like this remind us that we are always here for our neighbours when they need us most, standing together through every unexpected challenge.

Oct 21 - Every Vote Builds a Stronger Community

Thank you to the Stratford community for the incredible honour of serving you and for your continued trust and support. With only a few days left until the election, I ask for your vote to support my re-election to Stratford City Council.

Every single vote counts, so let's work together to keep building a stronger, better community for everyone! Reach out to us if we can help you vote.

Oct 18th - Now is a Good Time to Help

Thanks to our incredible donors, sponsors, and partners like Mr. Charles, 58 neighbors received essential food deliveries this week. Because we operate without storage or refrigeration, our mission relies on swift, same-day action to transport fresh food directly from donors to family tables. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers and patient recipients for working together—even during late-night deliveries—to bring hope to our community.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m running for re-election to Stratford City Council.

I would be honoured to represent you and be your voice at City Hall for the next four years.

I believe in standing up for people who too often go unheard, supporting those who are marginalized or struggling, and working together in an open and transparent way to build a stronger, more inclusive and compassionate community.

Stratford is a wonderful city. I’m running because I believe we can make it even better for everyone.

I look forward to listening to you, learning what matters to you, and earning your support.
